SCIENCE-BASED ARTEMISIA ANNUA EXTRACT FOR OPTIMAL HEALTH
Commonly known as sweet wormwood, ‘Qinghao’, Artemisia annua has been used as a staple ingredient in Chinese traditional medicine due to its numerous therapeutic properties. Artemisinin, the primary component of A. annua, has been widely used as an anti-malarial drug.
The Artemisia plant apart from artemisinin contains other bioactive such as sesquiterpene lactones, which could have antihelminthic properties. Besides these properties, artemisinin has also been studied in a number of different disease models, such as those for rheumatoid arthritis, nephrotic syndrome, pancreatitis, and lupus nephritis, showing promising results.
NFH Artemisinin SAP can be used as a digestive aid supported by its traditional use in herbal medicine as a bitter tonic.
Each vegetable capsule contains:
Sweet wormwood extract (Artemisia annua herb top) 10% Artemisinin ............500 mg
Adults: Take 1 capsule one to two times daily or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 7 days. For occasional use only.
