What makes Spike Lavender and Bay Laurel such amazing antidotes against most animal and plant poisons? No one truly knows for now, but these two essential oils possess very similar molecular profiles. These include 1,8-cineole, linalool, and terpene alcohols and esters. Broad-leaved Lavender is characterized by it naturally occurring camphor content, and Bay laurel contains methyl eugenol. Both of these essential oils share common efficacy in the fight against pain, as well as in antiseptic action. Furthermore, both are highly effective at neutralizing a number of toxic venoms, such as that found in the bites/stings of wasps, horseflies, mosquitoes, jellyfish, stinging plants, and even vipers.
Despite not being fully explained, the antivenom properties of Spike Lavender and Bay Laurel remain staples in the major therapeutic standards of scientific aromatherapy. Few other products exceed their stunning performance and speed.
The composition AROMAVITA 98 is supplemented with additional essential oils to refine and expand its analgesic and anti-inflammatory potency. Its ultimate goal is to prevent painful and disabling swelling after an insect bite.
Thus, Lavandin is the ideal complement to broad-leaved Lavender, as it too is rich in linalool and camphor. The addition of Lemon Eucalyptus and Lemongrass provide terpene aldehydes (citronellal, neral, and geranial), which have well documented calming effects.
The final mixture is a balanced, and effective product that is quick in action and devoid of side effects. AROMAVITA 98 is a must-have when going hiking or on vacation, as well as during the summer months.
