With two types of alcohols, and arnidiol foradiol, Arnica is efficient in reducing irritation. It was demonstrated that the helenine sesquiterpene lactones and their derivatives reduce edema and inflammatory processes. Flavonoids exert an important action against free radicals while protecting the molecular structures of cells.
Properties and uses:
The oil extract of Arnica has the traditional virtues of the plant: anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic, soothing, circulatory.
Very good carrier oil for essential oils with a profile similar to: Helichrysum, Wintergreen, Lemon Eucalyptus, Noble Laurel, Super Lavender, etc.
