100% pure and natural chemotyped essential oil – Organic

Cinnamomum verum – Bark

Used in aromatherapy for the relief of cold symptoms such as nasal congetion and sore throat.

Used in aromatherapy as an antispasmodic for the relief of digestive problems such as sluggish digestion, intestinal cramps, flatulence and diarrhea.

Main properties:

Anaesthetic • Antiseptic • Antispasmodic • Aphrodisiac • Cardiac • Carminative • Emmenagogue • Haemostatic • Insecticide • Stimulant • Stomachic • Vermifuge

The expert’s advice:

External administration possible in dilution from 1%-20% maximum of CTEO in a vegetable oil such as Apricot Kernel, Hazelnut, etc. Cinnamon oil is an exceptional anti-infectious agent, but it is difficult to use because of its high dermocausticity which restricts its use to knowledgeable and careful users. Its extreme potency should be reserved for acute, severe and difficult cases, where other essential oils have already proven ineffective.

Skin irritation (dermocaustic) frequent if used pure. Always dilute, never use pure.

Useful recipe:

Winter blend: add 2 drops of Cinnamon bark oil + 10 drops of Sweet Orange + 3 drops of Balsam Fir in a Pranarom Diffuser.
