Indications

Ear buzzing as a result of chronic injuries of the inner ear caused by noise; nervous hypersensitivity.

Mode of action

With different action focus, they influence functional hearing disorders, particularly noises in the ear.

Chininum sulfuricum: Shows a particular relation to the vascular system. The drug picture includes the following symptoms: ringing in the ears, buzzing with deafness, deterioration of ability to hear. Periodical occurrence of the symptoms.

Phosphorus: Functiotropic relationship to the central nervous system. The drug picture includes the following symptoms: hypersensitivity to noise, heightened sharpness of hearing, echoing of one’s own words in the ears; triggering of symptoms through overexertion.

Remedies to be considered

• Overexertion of nervous system: v-C15, S6, BC-16 or BC-24
• Sclerosis of the tissues: R12
• In case of vertigo; Menière’s disease: R29

Ingredients

Chininum sulfuricum D12 5 g, Phosphorus D12 5 g. 

Non-medicinal ingredients: ethanol, purified water.

Dosage

Adults and children 12 years and older, acute cases: 5-10 drops daily up to a maximum of 12 times daily; in chronic cases 5-10 drops 3 times daily in a little water or undiluted, or as directed by a health care practitioner.

Cautions and warnings

• Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
• Do not use if hypersensitive to quinine.
