R53 Acne vulgaris, comedones

Indications

Acne vulgaris, comedones; suppurative conditions of the skin; eczema and dermatitis.

Mode of action

Bromum: Elective and antagonistic effect in skin disorders.

Hepar sulphuris: Suppurative comedones; eruptions on the scalp.

Juglans regia: Specific action against acne, pimples, and comedones on the face, neck, shoulders, back; eruptions are pruritic and discharging.

Ledum: Exerts a specific effect on suppurative rashes, abscesses, and wounds.

Natrium chloratum: Facial skin is yellowish, sallow, oily, and shiny.  Comedones and acne are dispursed on the face, particularly on the forehead and scalp.

Placenta totalis suis: Regenerative action on connective tissue; marbled skin.

Viola tricolor: Skin eruptions; pustules with crust formation; papules all over the body, especially on the face and ears; dermatitis; blood purifying agent.

The other ingredients, such as Bromum and bromine salts (Ammomium bromatum, Kalium bromatum and Natrum bromatum) have a selective and antagonistic effect, according the law of “ARNDT-SCHULZ” in diseases of the skin.

Remedies to be considered

• Complementary product: BC-20
• Acute suppuration: R1
• Glandular stimulation: R19 or R20
• Anemia, lack of appetite, and exhaustion: R31, BC-1
• Regulation of intestinal function: R37 or R37 JUNIOR, BC-4
• Purification of the blood: R60, 5-10 drops twice daily.
• Bacterial infections: BIO 87

Clinical experience

• To avoid aggravation, start treatment at 1 time daily, and gradually increase frequency.
• Drainage therapy may be indicated: R21 and R7.
• Dilute R94 1:10 with water to use as a cleanser.
• For teens, R19 (men) / R20 (women) may be prescribed on a chronic basis to regulate glandular function.

Ingredients

Ammomium bromatum D12 1 g, Bromum D12 1 g, Hepar sulfuris D30 1 g, Juglans regia D30 1 g, Kalium bromatum D12 1 g, Ledum D30 1 g, Natrum bromatum D12 1 g, Natrium chloratum D200 1 g, Placenta totalis suis D12 1 g, Viola tricolor D12 1 g.

Non-medicinal ingredients: ethanol, purified water.

Dosage

Adults and children (ages 12 and up) 5-10 drops 1-3 times daily in a little water or undiluted or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
